What I Wore 9/16/2011

Here is what I wore yesterday. I realize that I’m a day behind, but wow. That convention was exhausting and draining in the best possible way. I learned so much and met many inspiring women. I can’t wait to implement all of the things that I learned.

This is one my teachers, an amazing artist/blogger named Kathy Cano-Murillo. She is so amazing! Check out her website, The Crafty Chica. Ay Chihuahua! Amazing. (Ugh, for some reason I can’t link to her blog right now. But check her out! thecraftychica.blogspot.com).

Here’s the breakdown of my outfit.

Dress: Thrifted (BCBGMaxAzaria)

Cardigan: Anne Taylor LOFT

Shoes: Naturalizer (nude flats)

Hope you’re having a great Saturday!

What I Wore 9/15/2011

Hi! Here I am – exhilarated after an amazing day. I listened to so many inspiring people and have a million ideas of where I want to go with my blog. And the swag bag came with a size H crochet hook AND a travel Fiskars scissors. Awesome! I am definitely in the right place.

Just in case you were wondering where I get my clothes, I’ll do a quick break down:

Shirt – Anne Klein from Macy’s

Cardigan – thrifted

Bracelet – gift from the Man from Jess LC

Blue Jean skirt – thrifted

Shoes – Naturalizer (ordered online)

Ok, I have to go to bed now, because I need to be able to get up and do this all over again tomorrw!

What I pack for a 5-day trip

As you can see over here on the side I am going on a little trip! ——->

I am attending The Creative Connection this weekend in St. Paul. (If you’re going too, I can’t wait to see you there!)

I am so excited to be surrounded by creative people, to learn new things from social media and crafting experts, and to have fun! I am sure I will blog all about it when I get home.

But before I leave, I wanted to share what I am packing:

Here’s the visual: lots of pink, purple, green and navy. That’s my brown skinny belt, pink wedge-heel sandals, and flip flops. The purple blob on top is my 17″ suitcase, and the pink bag is my make-up. Other than that, I packed four shirts, blue jeans, two skirts, one dress, and two cardigans. Not shown are one more pair of shoes (nude flats), pajamas, and my unders.

I am hoping to get a couple of pictures during the conference, so hopefully I can show you how I mix and match my clothes into interesting outfits.

I have a couple of blog posts lined up, so check back. I will try to add a couple of updates from the conference, too, if I have time.

Hope you all have a creative, inspiring weekend! Do you think I missed any vital clothing items? Or did I pack too much? Let me know. :)
