Like I said in my post yesterday, I have been feeling quite uninspired lately. But my cousin’s wife had a little baby girl last week, so I whipped up this sweet cabled hat from some of my stash yarn. You may remember another version of this hat from here. I have made a bunch of these – I guess they haven’t all made it up onto the blog. Anyway, I love this super easy pattern. If you have been scared to try cables, this is a great way to learn. You will be a Cable Master in no time!

In other news, my sweet little Chihuahua Bonne has been sick. Here she is at the height of her illness:

That weird white thing in the background is actually a space heater. We were trying to keep her as warm as possible. She spent a couple of nights in the hospital, and she just came home yesterday. She’s still not quite 100%, but hopefully in another week or so, she will be right as rain.
